Sawgrass Country Club Clubhouse
Auld & White Constructors was retained by Sawgrass Country Club to construct a new 67,100 sq. ft. clubhouse in Ponte Vedra, Florida. The project was constructed strategically in phases to allow parts of the former facility to remain operational while the new facility was being constructed adjacent to it. As the first half of the new portion was complete, the remaining portion of the former facility was demolished to make way for the new building’s main entrance.
The new clubhouse adds to the legacy of some special local golf history. From 1977 – 1981, the TPC (now known as “The Players”) was originally played at the Sawgrass Country Club. Golf legends including Tom Watson, Raymond Floyd, and Jack Nicklaus descended on the sandy mounds, ryegrass, and sawgrass to play the picturesque, challenging course. Now, forty years later, Auld & White Constructors has had the privilege of adding to this legacy and constructed its new first-class facility.
With modern new amenities and casual but elegant spaces, guests can now enjoy the relaxing surroundings of one of the Southeast’s Premier Private Country Clubs. Members can visit the new Pro Shop with the latest men’s and women’s golf apparel, enjoy a meal in the grand dining spaces, or relax in the luxurious men’s and women’s locker rooms. Regardless of where you venture in the Distinguished 5 Star Platinum Club of America, you will be enjoying the ultimate Sawgrass experience.
Auld & White Constructors is honored to have been part of constructing this instant classic.
