St. Paul’s Catholic Church – New Sanctuary

Auld & White Constructors was retained by the Diocese of St. Augustine to construct a new sanctuary for St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach. The sanctuary includes a large crucifix on a stone wall behind the altar, niches for the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph, reconciliation rooms, a cry/bride’s room, choir loft, and monumental bell tower. Stained glass from the old church was restored and placed on the north and south windows. The narthex/entrance at the east side features a new three-story stained glass version of The Ascension. New technology on the interior includes state-of-the-art flat-screen TVs and extensive sound, fire alarm, and HVAC systems. The iconic new facility will seat nearly twice as many parishioners as the old church, allowing the growing church to continue welcoming the faithful and building on its 125-year plus Legacy of Faith.
