Auld & White Constructors Announces New Chief Operating Officer
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – October 7, 2025 – Auld & White Constructors (AWC) is proud to announce the promotion of Billy-Dale Tyson to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Tyson will oversee construction operations and ensure the successful performance of projects and company initiatives throughout Northeast Florida.
A results-driven leader with extensive experience across the commercial, public, and financial sectors, Tyson brings exceptional organizational, communication, and execution skills to every endeavor. Having previously led AWC’s Interiors Division and served as Vice President of Strategic Accounts, he’s been instrumental in strengthening client partnerships and expanding the firm’s local footprint. His portfolio includes major work for the City of Jacksonville, Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, and prominent financial institutions such as Bank of America and Community First Credit Union.

A Jacksonville native, Tyson attended Stanton College Preparatory School, where he met his wife, Alex. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Florida, where he remains a proud Gators fan and season ticket holder. Together with their two sons, they enjoy fishing, building treehouses, and spending weekends at their lake house in Keystone Heights. Billy-Dale is also deeply involved in his industry and community. He serves as Vice Chair of the University of North Florida’s Construction Management Advisory Board and sits on the Executive Board of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA). He also actively participates in the Hendricks Avenue Baseball League and supports numerous local charities, giving back to the community his family has called home for four generations.
