Small Business Mentorship Program

The AWC Small Business Mentorship Program helps emerging subcontractors grow their business through structured guidance, practical education, and meaningful industry connections. Developed in partnership with the City of Jacksonville’s Jacksonville Small & Emerging Business Program (JSEB) and the local Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) chapter, the program provides small businesses with access to resources and expertise needed to strengthen operations and succeed in the commercial construction market.

Equipping Partners for Continued Success

Participants in the program gain in-depth learning and targeted support designed to improve business operations and project readiness. Monthly two-hour sessions cover topics such as financial management, marketing, project bidding, and safety practices, all led by industry experts. The program equips subcontractors with practical tools, guidance, and strategies to make informed decisions, enhance efficiency, and position their businesses for long-term growth.

Enrollment in the AWC Small Business Mentorship Program is offered at no cost.
