Strayer University

In the Brooklyn area of Downtown Jacksonville, Auld & White Constructors (AWC) recently completed a tenant buildout for Strayer University. The private university’s main campus is located in Washington D.C. and is relocating its local campus from Baymeadows to be more strategically centralized to Jacksonville’s metropolitan areas. The school features programs for working adults and offers degrees in accounting, business administration, criminal justice, education, health services administration, information technology, and public administration. This new facility will serve as its student information hub, learning center, and administrative office. The contemporary interiors, designed by OPX Global, incorporate vivid colors, materials that are thoughtfully juxtaposed, and a vernacular design that reflects the “hip” revival of one of Jacksonville’s historic neighborhoods. The time-sensitive project was completed ahead of schedule in less than four months.
