Jacksonville University Reid Medical Science Center
Auld & White Constructors was retained by Jacksonville University to enclose the exterior corridors of an existing classroom building with storefront, renovate several laboratory spaces, and upgrade interior finishes.
The scope included demolition and replacement of ductwork to accommodate a new rooftop HVAC unit, improving system efficiency. Electrical work involved selective demolition and the installation of new systems to support upgraded equipment, lighting, and infrastructure throughout the renovated areas. The three lab renovations included new biosafety cabinets, fume hoods and drying ovens. Interior finishes were upgraded with new flooring, painting, whiteboards and updated furniture to enhance student spaces.
