Baptist Medical Center South – Lobby Renovations

Auld & White Constructors was retained by Baptist Health to renovate its Baptist Medical Center, South Campus at the I-95 corridor. This project was a significant refresh of the 15 year old hospital’s main entrance, lobby, cafeteria, gift shop, information/security and conference rooms. The project included the replacement of flooring, finishes, ceilings and lighting. Walls were relocated, the cafeteria and dining areas were completely overhauled, and new spaces were established. The project was renovated in phases and included maintaining egress and traffic for both pedestrians and vehicles for the duration of the project. This project was originally set up in six phases. Through strategic project management, AWC was able to eliminate two phases, which saved time and allowed for the project to finish on schedule. All of this was done despite several challenges including multiple shutdowns related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
