Restaurant re-wrap: more eateries coming to and leaving Jacksonville
Wednesday is the official reopening date for one of the original Firehouse Subs restaurants, according to social media.
After almost exactly two years of reconstruction, the restaurant at 4347 University Blvd. that was shut down after a fatal crash closed the shop is back by popular demand.
The fast-casual sandwich shop is across from the Harvey’s Supermarket-anchored Santa Monica Shopping Center.
Jacksonville-based Auld & White Constructors oversaw the $405,100, 1,677-square-foot renovation. The renovation includes a new kitchen layout and standard Firehouse decor.
