Community First transforms shuttered bakery into branch with food feature and community room

Community First Credit Union has designed plenty of branches but its newest is atypical.

The locally headquartered financial institution broke ground Monday in Murray Hill at the former Edgewood Bakery, beginning a project that aims to honor the site’s community roots. Community First’s budget for the project is $6 million, a spokesperson told the Business Journal.

TTV Architects designed the branch, Auld & White Constructors is the building contractor, NAI Hallmark is the development partner and Kimley Horn is performing civil engineering for the branch.
