Bank of America continues to pursue renovations of its Southside campus with more than $6 million in permitting work in review.

The city is reviewing an application for a $5.3 million renovation on the first floor of Building 500 as well as a $1 million project on the first floor of Building 400.

Marand Builders Inc. of Jacksonville is the contractor for both.

The buildings are at the 9000 Southside Blvd. campus near The Avenues mall.

North Carolina-based Bank of America has been working on a $200 million investment to update its Jacksonville Operations Center at the campus.

Bank of America said in October 2021 it will renovate and update 800,000 square feet of space it leases among five buildings in phases over several years.
