Auld & White Receives ABC Excellence in Construction Awards

Auld & White Constructors, LLC received three awards at the Excellence in Construction Awards on Friday, August 24, 2018. The awards dinner, an annual event hosted by the Florida First Coast Chapter of the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC), was held at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in downtown Jacksonville. The ABC Excellence in Construction Awards honors general and specialty contracting firms for innovation and merit shop projects.

The projects receiving awards include:

Guardian Catholic School – Award of Excellence  |  The school campus, located on Jacksonville’s Northside, includes a new two-story Classroom Building, a Cafeteria and Warming Kitchen, a Gymnasium which includes one full size basketball court and four practice courts, a newly constructed Administration Building, and the expansion of the existing Pre-K Building.

Jacksonville Humane Society – Award of Excellence  |  The new animal shelter on the organization’s existing campus includes climate-controlled housing for animals, a pet adoption mall, private rooms for prospective adoptees and an education center.

Mayo Clinic Radiochemistry Laboratory – Pyramid Award  |  The free-standing radiochemistry laboratory includes a cyclotron vault, clean room, offices, medical gas storage and a mechanical penthouse and will allow the local healthcare facility to perform its own cancer research activities in-house.
