Auld and White Constructors Matches Marlene and Ed White’s $25,000 Donation for Continued COVID-19 Response

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – October 1, 2020 – Marlene and Ed White, Chairman of the Board at Auld and White Constructors donate $25,000 to Baptist Health and the Baptist Health Foundation to help fund the continued response of those impacted by COVID-19. Auld and White Constructors matched the donation bringing the total to $50,000.

“All of us at Auld and White Constructors recognize the distress that has been brought on during these challenging times,” said Nathaniel Marty, Chief Executive Officer and President. “We are proud to support the Baptist Health Foundation as they provide continued relief to our Northeast Florida neighbors.”

Baptist Health has been a leader in the nation for its COVID-19 response. Since the outbreak began, Baptist Health and the Baptist Health Foundation’s efforts have bolstered support of the frontline responders, helped fund increased bed capacity and provided financial support for team members who have experienced stress during this unprecedented pandemic.

Among those in attendance at the check presentation were Matt Zuino – Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Baptist Health, Michael Aubin – President of Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Nicole Thomas – President of Baptist Medical Center South and Keith Tickell – Vice President of Strategic Assets for Baptist Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.

“We want to thank the Baptist Leadership Team and Board for their willingness to invest in our community’s well being,” said Ed White. “The steps that they took and continue to take have ensured that Jacksonville’s health care system has not been overwhelmed.
