Auld & White Breaks Ground on Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails

Jacksonville, Fla., April 30, 2013 – Auld & White Constructors, LLC has begun site work on a new 7,000 sq. ft. restaurant at The Markets at Town Center. Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails, an innovative new American restaurant concept by Chef Tom Gray, is set to open later this year. Designed by the Atlanta architect firm ai3, the restaurant will feature a dramatic two-story dining and bar plan with an open kitchen, two private dining rooms, covered second story patio and outdoor dining positioned on the center’s lake.

A groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate commencement of construction is scheduled for Friday, May 3, 2013 at the project site.

Chef Tom Gray, former Executive Chef and Managing Partner at Bistro AIX, brings his culinary artistry to The Markets at Town Center. Chef Gray is a two-time semi-finalist for the James Beard Award Best Chef: South. Chef Gray is a 1992 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America Hyde Park. He has travelled the United States perfecting his craft in California, New York and Florida.
