Auld & White to Build Third Green Project for City

Jacksonville, Fla., December 28, 2010 Auld & White Constructors will begin construction of Fire Station 40 for the City of Jacksonville. The new two-story land and marine based fire station will be located on Heckscher Drive and will seek LEED certification. The facility will be used as a Post, Storm Operations/Search & Rescue Center and was designed to withstand 150 MPH hurricane force winds. Design-build partner Dasher Hurst Architects has completed design, and construction will commence in April 2011. The project is scheduled to be completed in October 2011.
