Auld & White to Begin Construction of New Animal Shelter for Jacksonville Humane Society

The Jacksonville Humane Society held a groundbreaking for its new shelter on the existing campus at Beach Blvd. The new facility will include climate-controlled housing for the animals and a pet adoption and education center. Construction of the new 40,000 sq ft animal shelter, designed by Bacon Group, Inc. Architecture, is scheduled to begin this month. The new shelter will open in Summer 2017.

Auld & White Constructors recently completed the new construction of a warehouse at the site of the Humane Society’s former thrift store.

The Jacksonville Humane Society’s hospital and adoption center will remain open while construction for the new facility is completed.
